I know, it’s not wedding photography, but another love of mine! Recently did a photography tour to Canada for owl photography. Got some amazing shots! There are even a few nice landscape shots as well.
2010 is going to be a big year for travel and nature photography stay tuned for that.
We are also potentially putting together a tour of North Central Maine where the moose and bear roam. I’ve seen the bear tracks, and I’ve almost hit a moose. We would also finish up the trip to Acadia National Park on the Coast of Maine, and then possibly the Portland Head Lighthouse. The last leg of the trip offers beautiful landscape photos, but takes a few days to do it right.
Anyhow here are the owl pics:
This is a very large barred owl that has caught and killed a short eared owl. Something amazing to see in the wild! the next photo shows detail of the short eared owl.
Snowy’s are the best!
and it wouldn’t be complete without any landscape shots:

Schelee contacted me from the field in Iraq. She wanted me to photograph her and Kevin’s wedding. I was incredibly honored to be a part of their special day. Both Schelee and Kevin have put their country and our freedom first.
Photographing their wedding was the least I could do!
